I hesitated posting this blooming but what the heck. It shows a solid red pouch which the stonei had a hand in. Also, the dorsal is basically white with strong stripping another contribution of stonei. These flowers are old as you can see the first has a brown spot starting.

Very good hybrid!! Perhaps next blooming the pouches will be in better shape, if you have a good stonei...I'd back cross it

It's cool to see so much stonei influence showing even after backcrossing to roths. I would give it another shot to see if it improves.

The red pouch is something. It contrasts the white stonei dorsal quite well. Another flowering on stronger spike might be stunning.

Rick, nice to see these flowers but I'm wondering, this isn't the mislabeled plant you showed one or two years ago, isn't it? If I remember correctly were these flowers more colourful.

Rudolf, this is a recent purchase and believe the label to be correct.
