Also recently posted elsewhere. The spike pictured below has been fully open about two days, and this morning I noticed a second spike! Looks like this one's a keeper, for ease of bloom if nothing else!
First bloom of this guy. Colour is great! Flower size is not so great: N.S. of 2.2cm. I think, for it's heritage, that isn't unexpected though. But it's got 23 blooms/buds, and it would have had 4 more if they hadn't blasted due to a lack of watering during spike development (I was out of town).
