This is a good performing Don Wimber clone that I bought from eBay over ten years ago. It originated from Whippoorwill Orchids in Arkansas I believe.

Yay besseae hybrids. I miss the Larkins and the Baileys. And H.P, Norton. :(

what an amazing clone,
perfect without the usual teeth on petals' edge
(as a flaw on some phrag hybrids, what species do those teeth come from?)

I notice it most in plants that have a 4N Eric Young in their background, so maybe it has something to do with higher ploidy and the combination of besseae with longifolium genes?

I've seen that "toothiness" in many 4n Phrag. Hybrids with besseae in the background, and believe it's due to ploidy. When we judged these types of hybrids back in the day, we considered such "teeth" to be a genetic flaw.
