'266' should refer to the cross 'MM'x'Val' (or reverse) made by the Tokyo Orchid nursery; your pod parent should be a seedling from that cross. No idea what 'J' is.

That sounds great then. I had no idea what '266' looked like or its background, but that now sounds promising. Especially after seeing Gary's plant. I bought a cross off Sunlight Orchids that was '266' x 'Red'. I have no idea about the 'Red' clone either, but hopefully that is an accurate pointer to the colour.
