    I just love this clone of besseae. Also flowering recently in Roger's collection in western NC.

    It's an exceptionally good one, for sure. I don't know who Roger is, but I'd love to visit and see this (and all the other stuff) in person. It's so nice.

    Lovely besseae and an unusual melon color rather than the bright red.

    This is a proven breeder and I believe it has an FCC. I do recall when these were first offered for sale, the price was several hundred dollars. A quick search turned up an ad from several years ago where the asking price was $450. If these are now available at a reasonable price, I'm going to buy one and end my search for a good besseae. Mike
