One of my first orchids. I got it from Big Leaf Orchids about 12 years ago. It's one of the Orchid World clones with very few of the red markings. I like the look of other clones better but this one has a great fragrance.

It's never bloomed a lot. Two or three blooms at at time is normal.

Thank you. I remembered this plant. Per my record i got it from Zuma Canyon in 1997. I sold this division in November 2000, so you have this since.

It's a living example that with proper care orchid will live on. Once I tried to keep all cultivars of Phal Orchid World but my greenhouse is just not big enough. It has more to do with time it takes to properly caring for each plant.

I don't recall that this is the most fragrant but I love it's unique flower. My favorite cultivar is 'Bonnie Vasquez'. I kept a division of a clone dated back to late 1980s from Zuma Canyon. I am not the original owner but certainly I appreciate a piece of orchid history.
