As some of you know I am a bit of a fairrieanum freak. This hybrid is my favorite of the primaries. Tigrinum brings some nice spots, I think not having A/C on really affected the bloom a bit, but hey whatever. I bought this last summer in bud from Tom Kalina at Fox Valley. I tried to pollinate the second flower, but I do not think it is fertile. Tom said he suspected these were a bit sterile. So to date this is the most expensive plant in my collection.... I am not gonna tell you nor the wife.... Well maybe you guys cause you would understand... $500... Just kidding only $100....
