This compot is from SVO. There are 6-8 seedlings which will need to come out of this pot in the spring when new roots start to form. $45 + shipping for the compot.

I find this species difficult and do not recommend for beginners. Not trying to scare anyone, but I also don't want to mislead either.
 
Typically the roots are easy to untangle. I squeeze the sides of the pot to loosen things up. Then gently shake out the seedlings.

These cattleya are a lot less crowded than my phrag compots. I rarely have issues with this level of crowding either. The largest issue is that the larger seedlings shade the smaller ones over time. That's when I repot.20210316_150324.jpg
