I haven’t been posting many pictures but this one just opened and thought it was worth sharing. First bloom seedling from a Peruflora flask. In person I think the color has a bit more blue in it.

I made a mistake on this, it isn’t actually Yoko W. Fischer it is Peruflora’s Sprit x besseae either unnamed or Ekolu Quintal depending on how you view dalessandroi. Would an admin be willing to change the title to avoid confusion?

Phrag. dalessandroi is still officially, by Kew/RHS, creating separate hybrids from besseae. So, if you have Peruflora’s Spirit x dalessandroi it is Ekolu Quintal. Also, Peruflora’s Spirit is a different hybrid than the Peruflora’s Cirila Alca parent in Yoko W. Fischer. So, now I understand why the flowers look quite different from Yoko W. Fischer.

Peruflora’s Spirit = kovachii x Eric Young with 50% kovachii + 25% besseae +25% longifolium

Peruflora’s Cirila Alca = kovachii x dalessandroï 50% kovachii + 50% dalessandroï

Basically they are completely different...
