It looks to me like premature breakdown of healthy cells? Can anybody help identify whats causing this. The leaf is very thick and stiff just very yellow
 
Probably because of the phenomenon of elements translocation from the oldest leaves towards the younger leaves or to support the formation of new roots. I also observe the same phenomenon in my collection and more since I reduced the quantity of fertilizer distributed...
 
probably shooting a new root at the base. Sometimes the old leaf has make room for the root and is dying - esp. brachys are doing this.
 
Ok, it beiing so thick and stiff is not the usual drop of old leaf but every case is different, thanks for the advice
