Yellow leaf

It looks to me like premature breakdown of healthy cells? Can anybody help identify whats causing this. The leaf is very thick and stiff just very yellow

I just looks like an old leaf, ready to give up the ghost. I'd be more worried if I saw that on new growth.

Theres no new growth underneath it starts or roots

Looks like normal leaf senescence.

Probably because of the phenomenon of elements translocation from the oldest leaves towards the younger leaves or to support the formation of new roots. I also observe the same phenomenon in my collection and more since I reduced the quantity of fertilizer distributed...

totally normal.

probably shooting a new root at the base. Sometimes the old leaf has make room for the root and is dying - esp. brachys are doing this.

Ok, it beiing so thick and stiff is not the usual drop of old leaf but every case is different, thanks for the advice
