Rose, I think 'yes' & 'yes' on both questions. The flowers are really fragrant.

Correction

It should have been Rhynchorides instead of Aerides. It is a cross in between Rhynchorides Thai Noi (Rhyncholaelia coelestis X Aerides flabellata)
and Aerides houlletiana.
