Dendrobium Oriental Smile ‘Fantasy’
Nice sweet citrusy scent that goes perfectly well with the flower colors 9C322291-9592-4EC6-AE73-8522D15125EB.jpeg

First Catasetum (Melana Davison x Isobel’s Sunshine) to bloom this year. This one blooms early spring and again later in the summer. Strong sweet menthol scent

Sedirea japonica has sweet & spicy (cinnamon or clove) scent. Very pleasant!!

Phalaenopsis modesta is finally giving me some generous amount of flowers this year. I was very excited to see 30 buds but then all but 16 blasted. Still better than one or two flowers at a time like last year. 😁
Grape soda scent on this one

Phalaenopsis stuartiana is another one that jumped significantly in flower count. Two or three flowers last year. The thing is nearly all the flowers this time are deformed one way or another 🤔 Otherwise, I’m happy with this generous second bloom

Third schilleriana that is lighter pink than my other two. This one also has rose scent

Now, my lovely little hybrid Phalaenopsis 😁
Mini Mark
It had bud blast after another last year.
This year, it is behaving much better

Liu’s Cute Angel gave me four small spikes last year. One big spike this year

A similar hybrid Liu’s Berry is also blooming

Last, fragrant NOID minis from a grocery store last spring are blooming again in much better state

All are very nice. I especially like the nobile dendrobium (they're so rewarding when well bloomed) and the Phal. Liu’s Cute Angel (like the branched habit and very cute flower). Well done!

Those Phal species plants are really nice.

I admit that Dendeobium is pretty spectacular too, despite being a hybrid! Have not seen anything that color in Dendrobium before. Curious how “true” the photo color is?

Congrats on all!

Where's the Dendrobium Oriental Smile ‘Fantasy’ from?
I got this from a local farm long ago. The plant got big fast and I got rid of it. only kept one small portion of it, which is now starting to gain size as expected.
I think this hybrid is easily found in the market.

This is a bad photo of it. It really is a cute flower in person. The lower half of the sepals is white and that really makes the flower pop. That is not shown in the photo here unfortunately.
I did not take very good care of the plant yet this is what I get. I am a little more motivated to better care for it so I could get even larger spike one day! 😍

all of them are impressive and blooming well for you. your home must have many wonderful scents from all those plants
On a sunny day during the late morning into early afternoon, yeah, there's an explosion of competing scents of orange blossoms, fresh cut orange/sweet lemon, rose, hint of Accasia honey and some cinnamon/clove. Love this time of the year for this! 😍

HP7, I enjoyed your colourful bunch of diferent orchid flowers very much. 👌 I like especially your Phal. species, even if the flowers of your Ph. stuartiana aren't perfect.
