A friend had this awarded in 1975 (Aylesbury x Redstart) and its still worth a space on my bench.

very good, I love it ! I have a Redstart hybrid at home if i remember well Samantha "Stateman" should be Redstart x Paeony ? I'm not sure but the result is also interesting

Redstart x paeony is orchilla! I bet when ratcliffe's made redstart x aylesbury they were hoping for a dark red...nevertheless this is very attractive, and thanks for sharing. You don't happen to know if it was redstart 'chilton' or 'exbury' that was used?
