I was surprised to find that Antec was selling a compot of a cross using helenae as one of the parents. It can be viewed here:

Am I the only one in the world that still thought any crosses with helenae are illegal?

Just like with vietnamense, it looks like Antec had access to F&W cofiscated plants, thus making those plants offered by them legal. It said so in the auction, I thought

That is a true statement. I don't know how the F&W determines who is "worthy" to receive such plants, but somehow they do. I am guessing some of it has to do with in house ability to propogate.

i've heard helenae is at a plant rescue center and that seedlings will soon be available. i've been waiting and waiting and waiting and waiting and waiting and waiting and waiting to try to find out who's got 'em and when they're comin'...
so far, i ain't heard squat...
i want one!....rather, twelve...
