Troy, warm-hot all year (it is grown outdoors but under cover from rain). Media is charcoal, leca, broken brick, limestone, some soil. Light is bright, diffused. Niveum can take up to cattleya light but it usually encourages it to bloom on small immature growths, which I don't think is good. I grow it in somewhat phal light for best foliage colour. This pot I top-dress with a bit of moss as I have it by an apartment window, with low humidity.
