Paph. haynaldianum goes to the show!

I sent my Paph. haynaldianum to its first show on Vancouver Island last weekend and it won best Paphiopedilum, best grown under lights, and was the Reserve Champion. Unfortunately I stayed home and missed all the action! Oh well, I was a proud mama from a distance.

Still not blooming at its potential. Just wait. It can hold 6-8 blooms on a spike! Imagine 4-6 spikes of that!

Fantastic! I love this species. Yours has great color and well staked. I am lazy and let mine just throw out horizontal spikes.
