My best blooming of this ~40-growth plant yet: eleven flowers/buds on ten inflorescences; one inflorescence is double-flowered. Haven't seen that before on micranthum, though the 50+ growth armeniacum has done it a couple of times. Growing in a 10" wire basket in a fine bark mix with a bit of oystershell. Grown cool in cattleya light, kept moist year round.

Spectacular!!! Thanks for describing your culture! I’m always puzzled by ‘kept moist’. How do you do that and not have it mostly wet and rot the roots. Especially when growing cool. Do you just give it a small amount of water when you water instead of flushing?

I water thoroughly with water running out the bottom every time. I'm not worried about it being overwet; it gets plenty of air and drainage being in a basket. I don't water if it seems really wet; but usually it dries enough pretty quickly; with 40+ growths it can use up quite a bit of water.
