Hi!

These are photographs of a Paph. Pinocchio that is different than the one that I recently posted with the folded dorsal petal. This one is Paph. primulinum 'Surprise' x Paph. glaucophyllum 'Sunburst'. The flower measures 3-1/4 inches (8.25cm) from petal tip to tip. I'm liking it very much. :)

By the way, I followed the advice from several of you in the other thread. I removed the flower on the other plant. I'm hoping that the second bud will bloom out normally.

Oh, that is Stanhopea tigrina in the background along with a stem of Vanilla planifolia.

Best Regards,
Nik

Gorgeous!!!! btw, how do you treat your vanilla???
The short answer is "not very well". It's not thriving. I have it in a five-inch (12.7cm) pot hanging in my greenhouse. It's under a ficus tree, so it gets plenty of indirect light. I should probably move it to a brighter location. It's doing okay, but not thriving.
