Nice one.. :) You sure have a good collection of Maudiae-types... Do you specialise in them?

I'm embarrassed to say I really know nothing about paphs except that when I was buying to fill the racks in my indoor grow room I matched the flowers I bought to the conditions I had. Most of these mottled leaf paphs seem to love the warm environment I have. I do have a couple that I suspect would prefer it a bit more humid and perhaps a bit cooler.

For me it is the beauty of the flower first and then the challenge of creating a favorable environment. In that there is serenity and balance, an escape from the corporate world.

Even though I try to stay away from NOIDs I honestly couldn't tell you what a "Maudiae-type is". I hope that doesn't get me banned.:D

No worries Ronn.. Maudiae type paphs are the mottled leaves ones with a tall spike and flowers shaped like this one with a big dorsal sepal/hood, in contrast to brachys which are also mottle-leaved but have smaller rounder egg-shaped flowers... :) Where are you located BTW?

Well then yes I have only Maudiae type paphs. Sharing the same room I have a few Bulbophyllums as well. They seem happy together. I am in Fresno, CA
