Hi,

Flowering for the first time in two years.
It took last year off after exhausting itself the previous year.
That year it produced six flowers from a single bulb.
This year it is five from two smallish growths.
I removed one when small to try to stop more flower over production.
Anyway these seem to be easy growers and do not need high humidity to
flower well.

Humidity

I think that our lack of summer heat in the UK helps enormously.
It rarely gets over 30c here and so we do not have this form of stress to impact the plants.
The plants are also mostly grown indoors where there is a consistency in the environment that is impossible to replicate in any but the biggest greenhouses.
This maybe why the phrags and lycastes do so well,
David
