First Deflasking: Paph. spicerianum

Hello, pretty new to slipper orchids. Got my hands on a flask recently and deflasked them last night. Just wanted to start a post to share progress. Ended up with 24 plantlets.

Those are pretty large considering they just came out of flask. Hope they do well for you. Personally I prefer to keep them all together in one compot but that is just my preference.

Really nice seedlings! Just keep water out of the crown and leaf axil. Should do well.

Thanks everyone. The reason I didn't compot is because I didn't want to have to separate them out again when they get too crowded. I do have them in a plastic box that a open a few times a day. I'll give an update in a few weeks!
