Gego, john the owner of cal west tropical told me at a nursery he used to work at there was a clump growing in some rocks in the ground bloomed every year, in florida
 
Very floriferous!! Rick, a buddy of mine lived in florida, and said an esqurollei that was planted in the ground there bloomed every year, and grew very well under regular florida weather, not too cold

Well I think one pot I have has over 50 blooming size growths so maybe it will go nuts this year. When I first got it (from Andys) in 2001 it took 3 years to get the first blooms, and then bloomed pretty good for probably at least 6 more years before tapering off to nothing for the last couple years.
