I have a thing for blue Catts and think these cuties are just plain adorable. They smell just as sweet as they look.

beautiful! how do you get the damned things to bloom? I
m gong on 6 years now past BS without a bloom.

Thank you for the nice comments everyone :).

walkeriana used to be my favorite orchid!

What is it now?

how do you get the damned things to bloom?

I haven't done anything special. This is the first one I have owned and got it last year shortly after it had bloomed for someone else. I grow it inside under T5 fluorescents and give as much light as I can. In short, no different from the other Catts I have.

Hiya Susan!
that, technically makes it an absolut high-end breeding cultivar, which explains the great shape. It may not be awarded yet, but your plant is of the material which will be the next generation of very awarded cultivars. Give this another blooming and we'll see: how much more "blue" will come trough.

Thanks for posting!
