Here is a lovely large flower of another plant that I got recently from Michel Paul! Jean

here with one of my in-house pollinators:

oh no! is that a long-tailed mealybug just in front of the pollinator? (those pollinators, maybe just their young, eat aphids but i dunno about mealies...)
 
Perfect!!! Is it in the same agg. with lobbii?? They look very much alike...:D
 
That's a hover fly, not a carrion fly. The group are frequently the pollinators of Paph species because their larvae eat aphids, so the females are looking for pests to lay their eggs next too. I don't know if the adults also attack pest species, but I think the males can be pollen robbers.
