A Guessing Game: What Album Spike is This

This inflorescence caught me by surprise. I saw it 2 weeks ago before my trip as a tiny point thinking it was a sheath… but now has become a fully fledged flower stem with 4-5 buds on it.

Would anyone like to guess what it is?

Several clues:

1. Album
2. Species
3. Multi floral () solid green leaf
