I just dont know what to make of it.

Is it just 'The King'?
Since theres no grex or species, could this possibly be the Adam or Eve of the cattleya alliance??
And if so, it should certainly be worth more the 100 bucks

It is kind of interesting, but not my thing.

I've had a variegated sport growing off my Cattleya mossiae v. warneri for a while now. Must not be as rare as I thought. Only one lead off the plant is producing variegated growths, and the flowers show no discoloration or distortions.

you could get a couple hundred bucks for that in Japan (or I could... *grin*). It is probably worth removing it from the main plant and growing it on as a separate pot.
