I so wish that you could ship those flasks to us in the United States. I'd be the first one in line for one of each. The flasks that I see in the U.S. are not as far along as yours. Those roots, look great.

Thanks, also I wish i'll be abl to ship to US...also deflasking 3 Pleurothallis hybrids...try new idea...

The adductum should be special.

Difficult to find in flask...can immagine some Taiwanese wanted to buy all my flasks and more...is getting difficult to find and also big shortage soon...after discovery of anitum, adductum was left behind and so no one, particularly in Taiwan, reproduced it...

The other thing u will see is posibly adductum crossed with anitum. i bought an adductum flask several years ago i am sure is either 50% or 100% anitum. i know if it is all one species it shouldn't matter, and that "species" is just a theoretical construct, but it still seems like hybrizing to me.

Think I just won one of the hang flasks on e-bay... cause I guess there can't be two Valenzino in the world selling hang-flasks, right? :)

Looking forward to it.

Hi Valenzino. Why do you think they are not breeding those two species (or one?) if there is a lot of demand for it. Its clear that many people like it and want it. I just cant think of any reason. By not breeding it means its rarity and value will stay up but then again one person or nursery can just breed it and monopolised the supply. Of course this is all but a speculation of mine so I don't know. Just wanted a discussion of it as you already know. This is my favourite species

Even if the request is high means few hundreads customers....is difficult to grow and slow,so is expensive to produce...better sell few plants at higher price and still have demand growing...

Also:
This always happen in orchids...at a time there are a lot of a kind...the demand go down...no one reproduce anymore, because there are still a lot of plants around....and so after a while there is shortage and so restart reproduce while the demand grows up...this is orchids cicle and is always like this with 90% of orchids species....
