Yesterday I visited the nursery of Hans Christiansen in Fredensborg, my mentor in all things orchidiadic, to buy some more Greenmix (the non-organic growth medium, I swear to).
I couldn't resist buying this Phal. zebrina. I don't know, if this can clearly be seen in my photos, but it has a slight yellow/ivory tinge to the back ground colour of the flowers, that I especially fell for. This was certainly clear, when compared to the plant that hang next to it - another nice zebrina with a very, almost shiny white background colour.
Close-up of flower: Another flower:
Plant in toto:
Ps. Yes, Leslie, although I really shouldn't, a Paph. argus and a wardii, and a little Bulbo. ambrosia somehow also sneaked their way into my shopping basket - all presently not in flower, though.
