I did not notice any fragrance.
They do develop very slowly but that means the flowers last longer.

Beautiful flowers and lots of 'em. I have trouble with the species in my
coolish greenhouse, but I see a tiny nub of spike starting. I hope it does
as well as your plant. Blooming was great last year.
For this species, growing season must be warm above 75F,,, but needs the temp to go down around 60F to initiate flowering. In the Phils, this happens around Dec to Jan with lesser rainfall.
