Aka. Phallus columnaris.

That is strongly suggestive to say the least. In two months it will make a few dozen huge white flowers with purple lip, cattleya shaped.

I will try to resize the photos, but whenever I resize using Gimp then Imageshack, I am either with a blurred photo or those giant photos... Really weird...

That one is 'Kenneth Pinyan', I selected a few last year in bloom... One other is 'Kirk Johnson', both deceased in tragic accidents but who would indeed have been VERY interested in such Phallus...
