No, it is a petaloid form, previous bloomings were the same.

I bought this javanicum this year at the Dearborn show, NJ , in bud, I was very disappointed when it bloomed , I am not sure it would improve in future bloom ! the 3rd photo was at it final full blooming

Poor thing, big part of the pouch is missing.

Hope for the best, but reckon with the worst.

Yeah, in this respect Istvan's interesting, genetical abberation is clearly to be preferred!

Are these both from OI lineage?
