This one has finally flowered and its just lovely but while this was sold to me as var. eburneum I expected the pouch to be paler - does this still fall in the realms of this? e91387d1dd47a93adbe193c3937cd714.jpg368ff4919359fdd53e94862eb595f7d8.jpg

Nice micranthum, I like these flowers with its big and bloated pouch.....but I wouldn't name this var. eburneum. P. micranthum var. eburneum means petals and dorsal contain a lot of yellow and the pouch is almost white with only hints of red or pink.

Thanks for your input, thats what I had suspected. Would this be a straight micranthum in your opinion?

Definitely a regular micranthum, not only is the flower the wrong colour, but the leaves of eburneum are darker, broader and shorter. Cute though :)

I see what you mean. Its the first bloom so hopefully the next one wont have the same oddness. Thank you everyone for the valuable input :)
