Paphiopedilum lowii ‘Charlie’

Another nice dark flower from JMarcotte. Four flowers and buds in total, though sadly a fifth tiny bud turned yellow. I’ll post again when all flowers open.

So it looks like I read label wrong. This is not ‘Charlie’. It’s a division I got from someone but not sure as it’s not named. I’m investigating.

So after consulting with JMarcotte, we figured it out that this is lowii ‘Carlisle’ as seen by this broken tag. Took a really close look to see ‘Carlisle’ written at the bottom of the tag, which was almost wiped out.

Leslie, this is another lovely Paph. lowii with an intense and dark colouration. Very pretty !

I visited Carlisle, Cumbria UK in 2007 but didn't see anything of a Paph. lowii. Lol
