Paphiopedilum lowii

Hi all, here is my Paphiopedilum lowii flowering for the first time. One flower opened, 13 cm wide, 2 more to come.

Lovely photos of a lovely lowii! Lowii was my first multifloral and when it bloomed for the first time that was when the “fever” really took hold of me.

Hi, thank you all for your kind comments.

This plant seems healthy and grows well even if I was wondering a few months ago if it wasn't infected by a virus (please see here for pictures).

However, only one leaf shows these symptoms, all the newest ones and also the new shoot seem healthy.

Maybe they were insect bites?
