I don't usually post photos of buds but I am super excited about this one. This has been in bud for the longest time. I am glad it didn't blast. First time blooming of this species for me!

Hard to tell but more pointed dorsal sepal leads me to think jackii, but I dont have much experience with these plans.

My seedlings are still another year or two from blooming size.

Either way, Should be a nice flower.

Two buds=jackii
leaf, looks a bit inbetween, underside probably reveals ID if it is not a hybrid between them. The stami will show.
