Picked this up a few years ago from Marilyn Ledoux at Windy Hill just outside of St. Louis. Seems to be vigorous and easy to get to bloom. Natural spread is 13 cm. (for Tenman that is about 5 inches :poke:)

This is the first bloom in my care, there are several previously bloomed older growths on the plant, so I don't know if the curl to the petals is a one time occurance or a consistient trait for this clone.

My other clones of this species have been struggling this last few years, I don't think any of them will bloom this year. Tigrinum has not been an 'easy' species for me.

Congratulations, Leo! I have three from different vendors, all fairly small at this point. Now that I'm in a greenhouse, they should fare much better. I eagerly await a first bloom!

This is my favourite Paph ever, I really apreciate the colours the shape of the flower and the pattern of the markings on dorsal and sepals.

I hope that I'll welcome one in my collection in the coming years.
