Did you hear what they said about the Shun Fa and why it was passed? Perhaps the petals slightly folded?
Thanks! Stirred the pot a little taking in myanmaricum and the judges weren't quite sure what to do either because there was nothing in the AOS database. But they all liked it enough to want to judge it and said "well we're in Canada so we can do what we want!" Kudos to them for that.
For the SFG I wish I'd followed the judges outside but unfortunately I didn't hear any of the conversation. To be honest though the first bloom was beginning to look a bit tired from all the recent heat we've had and the second bloom is still quite fresh but has slightly folded petals, as you noticed. We'll see what happens on the next bloom.
