My additon to the compex papth.... I recently purchased a divison of this plant and am blown away by how nice it really is. Can anyone with one of those award programs see if this has been awarded before? Thanks for looking!

The cross is (Burleigh Mohur x Hellas) named by Hanes in 1979.

There have been 2 awards. One an HCC and the other an AM. The last award was in 1985.

What's the clonal name on yours?

hhhmmmm I am trying to decide if is worth sending to judging.... It has a clonal name of '1' This clonal name was used to distinguish the differences in divisions, not as an actual clonal name.... But if it ever is awarded I guess I must keep it as '1'. - Not my first choice for a clonal but hey.... Thanks for the info.

"Division 1 of 3" is probably not an acceptable name unless the plant is Borg.oke:

To avoid confusion, I would try to contact the original owner of the plant to see if it has a cultivar name. If that is not possible, I see no reason why you shouldn't name it.
