Purchased from Sam of Orchid Inn at GVOS this past weekend. No registered name yet that I could find.

Really a very nice hybrid.
Perhaps interesting for breeding Teacup-Paphs.

Best greetings

Olaf

How cool! I'm growing some flasklings from Sam- He has some awesome plants. That bloom is really sweet! :D

That is a nice flower from this cross. Did you get to see more of this cross while at the show Dot? If so, how uniform are the flowers?

I was probably the first person at Sam's booth while he was setting up to sell. He had two of these, and I selected the best one (I think). He did say he has more at his greenhouse, not yet in bud, though.

Very, very nice! I like it a lot! Thanks for sharing the photo!!

That is a beautiful hybrid Dot. I like it a lot. Stunning combination of colours. If you asked me to guess the parents, the henryanum would have been easy but it would have taken me a lot of guesses for the barbatum.

Very nice flower, Dot!

Is it barbatum or barbigerum? Like David, I don't see much barbatum in there.

Cheers, Carsten

Agreed, your Tyke also has a different staminode.

So, where's the white staminode from in Dot's plant? Any tesselation in the leaves? Are they much broader than in henryanum?

Doll's Kobold???

Just scratching my head.

It's a beautiful flower, though, and one I've definitly bought as well.

Cheers, Carsten

Yeah, I'm seeing barbigerum x henry too. Love it! Will see Sam this weekend in Madison (Brrrr). Might need to get one.
