Hi Guys, had this awarded an AM/AOS at judging last month. This plant was one of the first parvi hybrids I ever purchased, probably 7-8 years ago and at one point I even donated it to the orchid society for a spring sale, no one bought it and they gave it back to me. I guess someone missed out on a good deal! Enjoy.Doug

It is very nice, but I think the Judges goofed on that one, as it is NOT Paph. Mem. Larry Heuer. I bet your plant has a citrus (Lemon) fragrance? It is Paph. Shun-Fa Golden (hangianum x malipoense and probably made with albino parents).

  CONGRATULATIONS!!! It's gorgeous, whatever it is!  There are many parvi X's that tempt me, I've bought them in bloom & I can't seem to rebloom them. :-( . My first delenatii is in bud, it skipped last year, that's as good as my record goes!
I'm new to showing, as I'm sure many others are. What will happen now?

I certainly agree with Robert on this (in fact, I even say, no, no, no way Jose, before even reading Robert's post), for so many reasons below:
-generous & well shape dorsal
-tiger stripe staminode
-thick & well shape opaque pouch
Well, may be the judges did not smell the flower closely:rollhappy::rollhappy:

Gorgeous. Amazing story. I bet you wouldn't have too much trouble giving it away now.

I agree with the others. Hard to believe that is emersonii x malipoense.

Sure, but would hangianum hybrids have been available 7-8 years ago?

It wouldn't be the first time a reward was given to Larry Heuer that's not. But you have a beautiful flower, and it's good that it wanted to stay with you! Congrats!

I wonder if these awarded Larry Heuers will have their awards changed or rescinded.

Hien took the words right off my keyboard. How big was the plant 7-8 years ago? Is this the first bloom.
