There is an interesting form of lowii that came from Sulawesi. Its different from the nominal form that we know. I saw some photos of it awhile back and it looks like your lowii. I will check if I still have the photo and I can post it here for your comparison but I think this is a lowii that came from that.

Yeah, it is a bit like lowii from Sulawesi. I have one and bloomed every summer. However, as long as I remember, the bud of such kind of lowii has some small hairs as normal lowii but the one I posted has no hairs on the buds as lyannie. Just wonder if there is variation on it too.
