¡Bienvenido Raul! Creo que descubrirás que te has unido a una maravillosa comunidad de fanáticos de las orquídeas.
Estoy en Orba, en la comarca de la Marina Alta, provincia de Alicante.
Cultivo la mayoría de mis orquídeas en el exterior, en la terraza, durante todo el año. Y he empezado algunas plantaciones experimentales directamente en los árboles en otro jardín en Denia. Solo los Paphiopedilums y Phragmipediums vienen al interior durante unos meses en invierno.
Cultivo muchos tipos, y los Dendrobiums (de caña blanda así como los tipos australianos) crecen muy bien aquí, así como las Cattleyas y las Encyclias. Por supuesto, los Cymbidium crecen casi como coles. También cultivo otros: Oncidiums, Maxillarias, Brassias... todas parecen felices aquí al aire libre.

I am in Orba, in the comarca of Marina Alta, province of Alicante.
I grow most of my orchids outside on the terrace, all year. And I have started some experimental plantings directly onto trees in another garden in Denia. Only the Paphiopedilums and Phragmipediums come indoors for a few months in the winter.
I grow many kinds, and Dendrobiums (soft cane as well as Australian types) grow very well here, as well as Cattleyas and Encyclias. Of course Cymbidiums grow almost like cabbages! Well, I grow others too: Oncidiums, Maxillarias, Brassias...all seem happy outdoors here.
