Hello. I am new to the forum and wanted to say hi. No questions at the moment - just an intro. I just started growing orchids this year. I purchased my first in March from my local orchid society and totally caught the orchid bug. Like others I spend spare time reading and studying growing orchids. I have a few different types of orchids. I live in Illinois and my plants are indoors. They are in a room with large east-facing picture type windows so get plenty of direct morning and natural light and then I am starting to supplement with grow lights as the light is quickly decreasing in the evenings this time of year.
