I love this beauty! The buds are an aqua color. It would not self for me but I out crossed it, last year, with pollen from one of our European members and it took.

That is the most unusual colour I have ever seen on an orchid... Looks like it has a metallic sheen... Very cute...

the metallic sheen look is from the flower being translucent and almost crystalline in nature
