I finally bloomed a walkeriana (first time ever) …. using Fred Allen’s clay pellets in shallow clay pot method (Thanks Fred!).

It’s the peloric version with petals that resemble the lip. The pattern is so hypnotic.

Only one flower as plant is still establishing and need to get stronger. Still taking it as a win yayyyy.

NS 8 cm.

congratulations! Certainly a horse of a different color!

I’m curious what sets “Fred Allen’s clay pellets” apart from regular LECA? Cattleya is an uphill struggle for me…
