This is one of the 7 species in the Section macrobulbon
I obtained this one as a large seedling and this is the first bloom on it. I have a division of another one in my collection as well. The flower is about 3" long...nice stale odor of mouse nest.

The bloom shape is sooo neat. How the heck do you know how a mouse nest smells though??? :rollhappy:
LOL, I knew someone would ask that :rollhappy: I have a shed and mice move into it every fall. I can't put poison in for sometimes my animals wander in there. I have cleared many a mouse nest from buckets, boxes and even a bike helmet. That is what I get for becoming a "country boy"

Great plant you got there Ron!!
- I've one plant which has not yet flowered

Gosh, that's such a weird-looking one. Very cool even if I don't think I would care for the smell very much :D

Most unique in looks & scent!
I'm glad you clarified the mouse nest scent!

That looks great Ron I'm just getting my feet wet with bulbo's so many different variaties
