Bulbo orthosepalum

This is one of the 7 species in the Section macrobulbon
I obtained this one as a large seedling and this is the first bloom on it. I have a division of another one in my collection as well. The flower is about 3" long...nice stale odor of mouse nest.

The leaves will eventually get a foot and 1/2, or so, long on this species. Bulbo phalaenopsis leaves can obtain close to 5 feet in length

LOL, I knew someone would ask that :rollhappy: I have a shed and mice move into it every fall. I can't put poison in for sometimes my animals wander in there. I have cleared many a mouse nest from buckets, boxes and even a bike helmet. That is what I get for becoming a "country boy"
