Here's mine for 2009. The clone is Windy Hill X Tower grove. So far the petals are pushing 22" :)

The petals of the second flower (facing away) have continued to grow for 4 or so days after they came in contact with the pot and moss. So it doesn't seem to be mandatory to keep the petals hanging free to keep them growing.

Erwinia?

That is a recurrent battle for me with all the long petaled phrags too. This plant would have twice the growths than it does now if it wasn't for erwinia.

I've lost 3 popowii from it too, but my exstaminodium is doing great. Earl Baily said that his exstaminodium (which is where I got mine from) seem to be much hardier than any popowii he has messed with.

I think I'm getting closer with cooler temps, higher airflow and humidity, bone meal, and epson salt additions. And I keep the dragon's blood and cinnamon handy at all times.:eek:
