Something a bit unusual, though....can anybody guess the species?

Yay! A guess....right section but wrong species, Im afraid. These "guess the bud" things can sometimes be nearly impossible I find, but this one includes a diagnostic feature in the leaf (reasonably clearly visible I hope...), so I thought it was a fair test.

Nope! It's a multi. I hope the identifying feature on the leaf is clear....

On my phone I see a very close of leaves. Are you referring to yellow white edge on the leaves?

Yes indeed - that is the feature I was pointing to.... anybody? I could be wrong but I think this plant is the real thing

Whatever it is, it looks like it will only bloom with one flower. So maybe tigrinum.

No, it's a multi.....the answer is, assuming it came to me with correct naming of course....intaniae. Looks correct to me so far. The spike is already quite tall, I will post when the flower(s) open(s)

Oh my, that is going to be some sought after pollen. Can't wait to see in bloom
