Amorphophallus titanum (Stinky Plant or Corpse Flower) will bloom at The Huntington!

The Huntington Botanical Gardens will be blooming its 5th Amorphophallus titanum since 1999! We have the Amorphophallus titanums growing in the Orchid Greenhouse and has been emerging for the last month! Early this week, we determined that it will be a flower as oppose to a leaf! It is going to be a stinky one!

Awesome! MoBot has bloomed 3 this year, couldn't make the trip to see any of the bloomings, but I think I could smell it from my house 50 miles away! Good luck in that confined space...
