I agree that proportionally, the second plants petals are wider. In terms of measurement, the first actually has wider petals, but is a much bigger flower overall, hence the petals appear narrower.

I noticed your measurements right away, that first one is big and nice. The second is cute but dinky. I would keep watering the second for at least another blooming, but #1 is the keeper for tradition flower quality reasons. Now if #2 were a dinky plant vegetatively, that would be the keeper for the mini-paph breeding reasons.
